My Supplements

20130303-162304.jpgI have decided to publish my current supplement list. Most of the supplements I have researched and I have a good reason for taking, however I do acknowledge that it is getting out of hand and will try to prune it over the coming weeks.

5 Flower Formula, not sure what this contains at this time. It’s an extract from five different chinese flowers. 2 tea spoons twice daily inbetween meals to be taken with a pawpaw smoothie.

IV Treatments

Every monday, Wednesday and Friday I have an IV infusion. It contains:

Vitamin C as sodium ascorbate, 90g
Alpha Lipoic Acid, 800 mg
Sodium Bicarbonate, 0.8g

Once a week I inject 2.5ml of GCMAF
Once every 2 days I inject Iscador (Mistletoe extract)

Every day I have a serving of MAF878, probiotic yogurt which I brew at home from starter cultures.
I have a cup of berries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries with 1/2 tea spoon of cinnamon.
I try to have at least 4g of pure cocoa powder, which I mix with hot water and a little cream.

I also brew a herbal tea and have 4 small cups each day. The Tea contains. Chamomile, Mint, Lemon Balm, Soursop Leaves and Stinging Nettle. Sometimes I add few slices of raw ginger.
The Chamomile, Mint and Ginger is to help with nausea. Lemon Balm has a calming effect, Soursop is said to have anti-cancer properties, and Stinging Nettle is to help red blood cells to recover after chemo.

The Future

In the near future I intend to add, Metformin, Quercetin and additional Ginistein, as I feel the GCP formulation does not contain enough. Due to the high copper on my recent blood test, I also intend to start copper chelation with ammonium tetrathiomolybdate.

About Ren

I have been diagnosed with stage 4, metastatic colorectal cancer in October 2012, 3 days after my 44th birthday. There is no cure, but I am determined to go down the road less travelled to find one. I have setup this blog to document my journey and hopefully help others in the process. My view is that if there is a cure, it does not lie with traditional chemo, but with the immune system. Time will tell.

A few notes. Lots of items might help, we focused on the actively transported MK4 form of K2 (45-135 mg divided twice a day), not a mixture with MK7 and MK9. Our live cell kill tests indicated vit K3 interfered slightly with vit K2 which worked best with vitamin C and 5FU for her calls. So we only use vit K3 (60 mg) during vit C injection. Also there is discussion that oral racemic (R,S) lipoic may be better, so we’ve used 900-1500 mg/day.

    More might revolt you but….
Bosewelia is mentioned by LEF 5LOX, we use it to fight liver inflammation in quantity too. More B2, B3 (1-3 grams/day, watch liver stress), B6 (400-500 mg pyridoxamine form, thinking about P5P next), 10 mg biotin, 1+/- grams pantothenate, active B12 (2500-5000 mcg methylB12, should be hydroxyB12), 1-2 grams acetylcarnitine . We use dehydroascorbate colored, tinged yellow, in IV ascorbate (some air reacted in concentrate with no preservatives speculated as special). There are very, very interesting results on dehydroascorbate-hydroxyB12 for mouse models from the 1970s never followed up.

My wife takes a daily 10 meq potassium tablet to prevent washout by sodium ascorbate, she tested low after almost a year.

My thoughts are that surgery or procedures to debulk are the priority and that one justification would be samples for live cell tests to find marker related combinations that kill tumor cells. Once you know the corresponding marker that helps kill, many natural treatments for the same marker begin to become desirable

    That’s a lot of supplements !
I also take few supplements but I alternate them and my doses are very negligible to what u r taking. Has there been a considerable difference , as observed from your blood test parameters , for the before and after supplement test. Have you thought of decreasing them to a few which actually make a difference ? Did you take them while chemo ?

Also, due to curcumin my iron levels have depleted and somi stopped curcumin recently and started iron supplements. I take 50mg every alternate day.

    My list od supplements is

    Vitamin d3 – 60,000 iu once a week.
Ip6 – two tabs twice daily.
AHCC or corilous versicolor – one tab twice daily
Curcumin – 1000 mg twice daily ( recently stopped)
    Calcium and magnesium
    Vitamin b6,b 12
Pan d 40 – which is actually an antacid 40 mg
    Sometimes I also take,
    Modified citrus pectin
    Grape seed extract
    Mega green tea extract
There is no set schedule or dose for this.

Do you have any recommendations for me. I am trying to avoid recurrence of the colon and liver mets which I got resected.
